First weekend at Montevideo

Plaza Indepencia seen from 25th floor of Palacio Salvo and its ghost who appears every 29th

and its Puerta de la Ciudadela on the opposite side

and Artigas statue in the middle

and his mausoleum just below

an unusual menu at Calle Colon put above the chairs in front of us.

On a rainy sunday I could not found torta frita so the choice was hungara :-)
